  1. Confirm the guest has completed the initial verification process through the guest portal.
  2. Access your Autohost dashboard and navigate to the specific reservation.
  3. Go to "Reservation" > "Links" > "SecurityDeposit".
  4. Locate the SinglePage Validation Link for the Security Deposit Screen.

  5. Send this new link to the guest for entering updated credit card information.
  6. Once the guest has entered new card details, access your Stripe dashboard.
  7. Locate and delete the record associated with the incorrect credit card.

Important notes:

  • This process is useful when a guest has entered incorrect card information or needs to update their payment method.
  • The new link allows the guest to enter fresh card details without being redirected to old information.
  • Always remove old card information from your Stripe dashboard to avoid accidental charges or pre-authorizations.
