How can we handle situations when the guest fails to complete part of the check-in process, such as providing documents or when their card is declined?

When a guest fails to complete part of the check-in process, follow these steps:

  1. Use Single-page Validation Links
    • Navigate to the reservation, click on "links", and copy the specific screen link you want the guest to revisit.
    • Use these links to request updates to particular information after the guest has initially completed the portal.
  2. Do Not Resend the General Link
    • The General Link will no longer work once a guest has completed the portal initially.
    • This prevents guests from accidentally overriding previously provided information.
  3. Avoid Confusion
    • Do not send single-page validation links to guests who haven't completed the portal yet.
  4. Completion Process
    • Guests will be directed to a "thank you" screen upon completing a particular single-page validation link.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage situations where guests need to update or correct information after their initial check-in process.
