Learn about the 'Long-Term' screen in the Guest Portal:

The Long-Term Screen is designed to be triggered based on the number of nights associated with a reservation. This screen allows property managers to target specific reservations with customizable questions and requirements, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered for long-term stays. It can be used to offer regular cleaning services, additional amenities, or request more personal or employment-related information for an added layer of security.

While this screen is optional, we recommended using it to gather additional information for long-term stays. If you need more examples of how to use this screen, reach out to your Account Manager.

Setting Up the Long-Term Screen

Customizing the Long-Term Screen in Autohost is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Log into Your Autohost Account:

    • Navigate to Guest Portal > Screens > Long-Term.

  2. Enable the Long-Term Screen:

    • Toggle the Long-Term Screen option ON to enable it for your guests.
  3. Set the Minimum Number of Nights:

    • Define the minimum number of nights required to trigger the Long-Term Renting Screen. This ensures that only long-term reservations are subject to the additional questions and requirements.

  4. Customize the Questions:

    • Add and customize the questions you want to ask long-term guests. You can choose from various question formats, including short answer, long answer, yes/no, and multiple choice. Ensure that the questions are relevant to your property and guest profile.
  5. Set Field Requirements:

    • Determine which questions are mandatory for guests to complete. Mark these fields as required to ensure that all essential information is collected.
  6. Save the Configuration:

    • Click "Save" to finalize your settings.
