Settings on a Listing Level

Autohost provides a range of customizable settings that can be configured at the listing level, allowing property managers to tailor the guest screening and verification process to the specific needs of each property. This guide will walk you through the various settings that can be set up on a listing level in Autohost, ensuring that you can optimize the management of your properties.

1. Custom Fields

Custom fields allow you to add specific information to individual listings, such as door lock codes, special instructions, or any other relevant data.

How to Set Up Listing Specific Custom Fields:

  1. Navigate to the Listings section.
  2. Select the listing you want to customize.
  3. Go to the Custom Fields tab.
  4. Click + ADD FIELD to create a new custom field.
  5. Enter the field name and value, then click Save.

2. Usage Agreement

Usage Agreements are designed to present a legally binding contract between the host and the guest.

How to Set Up a Listing Specific Usage Agreement:

  1. Navigate to the Listings section.
  2. Select the listing you want to customize.
  3. Go to the Usage Agreement tab.
  4. Add or edit the Usage Agreement specific to the listing.
  5. Save the changes.

3. House Rules

House rules set clear expectations for guests and help protect your property. These rules can be customized for each listing.

How to Set Up Listing Specific House Rules:

  1. Navigate to the Listings section.
  2. Select the listing you want to customize.
  3. Go to the House Rules tab.
  4. Add or edit house rules specific to the listing.
  5. Save the changes.

4. Security Deposit / Damage Waiver

Configure the security deposit amount and pre-authorization timing for each listing to ensure financial protection.

How to Set Up  a Listing Specific Security Deposit/Damage Waiver:

  1. Navigate to the Listings section.
  2. Select the listing you want to customize.
  3. Go to the Security Deposits tab.
  4. Enable the  option.
  5. Set the security deposit amount and pre-authorization timing.
  6. Save the changes.

5. Guest Portal Flow

Customize the Guest Portal flow for each listing, including which screens are required, optional, or disabled.

How to Customize Guest Portal Flow:

  1. Navigate to the Listings section.
  2. Select the listing you want to customize.
  3. Select the gear icon gear
  4. Use the dropdown menu beside each screen name to select defaultrequired, or disabled.
  5. Save the changes.
