If guests upload an expired ID (such as a passport or a driving license), will Autohost accept the the ID?
Yes; when a guest uploads an expired ID in the Guest Portal, their reservation will be flagged for Review on your Reservations Dashboard. This is done to alert you and your team about the expiration date.
If guests do not upload an ID, what should I do?
The decision on whether to approve or decline the guest's reservation is at your discretion.
If you wish to forego the requirement of ID collection, you can disable it for that specific reservation by visiting the Reservation page, and clicking on the gear icon. This setting gives you the ability to disable the ID Verification / Collection for that guest.
If guests do not have the requested pieces of ID, what should I do?
