Why are guests seeing a different Short Term Rental Usage Agreement than what was uploaded in Autohost?

Guests may see a different Short Term Rental Usage Agreement than what was uploaded in Autohost due to several reasons:

  1. Listing-specific vs. Global Agreement:
    • Autohost allows setting up Usage Agreements at two levels: a) Globally: Applies to all listings b) Listing-level: Applies to a specific listing
    • If a listing-specific agreement is in place, it will override the global agreement for that particular listing.
  2. Checking the current setup:
    • Review your listing settings to see if a unique usage agreement is applied.
    • For example, the "Remote-friendly suburban oasis!" listing had a unique usage agreement different from the global one.
  3. Formatting issues:
    • Sometimes, formatting elements like bullet points may not display correctly in the final agreement shown to guests.
    • This can make the agreement appear different from what was uploaded, even if the content is the same.
