How does Autohost conduct background checks for guests, and is the process automatic?

Autohost Background Checks can be configured and / or requested in a couple of different ways, depending on your desired approach to this type of verification.

  1. Configure Background Checks to be requested of all guests matching a specific risk color and / or number of nights in their stay.
    1. Login to Autohost and navigate to > Guest Portal > Screens > Select which risk levels you wish to complete a Background Check and Save your changes > Click into "Background Check" > Set the Number of Nights requirement and Save changes
  2. Configure Background Checks on a per-listing basis.

  3. Configure Background Checks on a per-booking source basis.

  4. Manually request an individual guest to complete a Background Check, regardless of risk colour and / or number of nights in their stay.
